The Other Guys - Movie Review

Bam! Everyone should so give me a pat on my back because there are new things to read here, every day, yes, EVERY DAY. Because I have finally learnt how to schedule post wtf, just like how I finally know how to lock my BlackBerry's keypad after using it for 2 - 3 months(?). I can't even remember how long have I had my BlackBerry.

Since we are en route of how blur I am, all thanks to Jackie who asked "Hey are you going for 'The Other Guys's' movie screening tomorrow?" on a Monday night, then only I realized that I got the dates wrong. I thought it was on a Wednesday like how all the other movie screenings that I used to go to. So here I am once again, to thanks Josh Lim for his generosity at giving me tickets even when I did not do a pre-post(cause I'm lazy wtf)and not forgetting ze cute Jason Ong who gives me extra invites every time I asked of them *cries of joy* You both, ze awesome-ness! *hugs*

This time, Samuel is/will/have/had/must/was/am/always (lol, choose one wtf) my date for the movie and I asked for extra invites because I want to bring my 'bodyguards' to the screening as well. Joking about the 'bodyguard' thing, they are actually friends that I wanna add 'BEST' in front of the word 'friend' and you will just 'LOL' at how the three of us meet each other and tadah... here we are today =)

The movie started off with Dwayne Johnson(a.k.a The Rock) and Samuel L.Jackson being the super police and were chasing after mild drug dealers and the total damaged made out of the police chase isn't that 'mild', yet the citizens still adores em'. Tell me who doesn't, with the body and the macho-ness lol wtf!

However, never did I expect them to be THAT blonde and to jump off a 20 story-height building with their last word, "Let's aim for the bushes!" and then jumped off the building where there isn't any bush at all! Don't say bush, I don't even see a dying leaf on the pavement of their city! Lol, I think they are too expensive to hire, so Director must make them die after a 10 minutes appearance lol wtf~

'When the top cops are busy, our only hope is The Other Guys'(or rather, DEAD =P)is what it's written on the poster of this movie because

Doing a negotiation using a ice cream truck's microphone

Will Ferrell and Mark Wahlberg are just plain, normal and day dreaming kind of police but when the two top cops(blondely)jumped to their death, both of 'the other guys' feels that there is a need for them to be THE heroes.

But they aren't the bestest of friends and things always seem to not work out for them. Along the road, they learnt that every thing is possible when 2 becomes 1.

Which eventually got them into so much trouble.

Overall, this is a must watch movie for all and it is a funny but action packed movie!

The Switch - Movie

All thanks to Adverlets and the founder, Josh Lim for inviting me to this new movie named 'The Switch'. Also special thank you to Jason Ong from Mynjayz.com for helping me out with the extra tickets and being kind enough to spare me another =)

Seriously, since my day time cum part time job is being stuck in the office and my night time job cum full time job is going/hopping around clubs and clubbing my night away, I wasn't aware of what's new on screen. Thanks to the both mentioned above, I've stepped out of my shell and I got to watch this before it is out on screen!

The movie started off with Jennifer Aniston who is at her age of 40 and she wants to be pregnant and have a baby. Jason Bateman, as the role of Jennifer Aniston's best friend was there to witness all her sudden party to celebrate a sperm donor who is willing to donate his sperm for money.

The sperm donor which I think played a role in Eclipse as the vampire doctor.

On the night of the party, Jason Bateman was drunk that he accidentally replaced the sperm donor's sperm with his own sperm!

This is where the fun part is.

Flushed the sperm's down the drain.

Jason Bateman then masturbated over an old lady on the cover page(LMAO!)

And the sperm that would be injected into Jennifer Aniston was replaced with Jason Bateman's.

7 years down the road, Jennifer Aniston came back with a 7 year old kid(out of the sperm by Jason Bateman)and she would love that the both of them to meet each other. Appearing as a gloomy, negative and analytic thinking kid just like Jason Bateman, Jason then found out and realized that he had accidentally switched the donor's sperm with his!

This kid too, 'makes out' with his food just like how Jason Bateman does! Lol!

You must watch this to know all the hidden hidden jokes.

After all the find out and hoo haa, Jason Bateman decided to confess and to get Jennifer and his own 'accidental' son back.

Over all, this is a movie worth the watch because it is somehow different from other love movies that I've watched. It is not cheesy and it is filled with funny yet indirect jokes and the small boy is really cute la~ Has this beady 'I'm lonely come hug me' eyes! RAWR!

Thanks again Adverlets for the movie ticket! I really enjoyed the movie and definitely all the friends I made and my two body guards who are willing to watch it with me =)

Step Up 3

Being an avid dancer, I got the chance to watch this awesome sauce and filled with dances of all sorts 's movie titled Step Up. And if you have been living under the rock like Patrick from SpongeBob SquarePants cartoon, this is the third movie that they came up with!

And it was a bit disappointing at the end as I anticipated much much more dance moves ...

The movie came out on the 26th of August, so I will not be a spoilt sports now and this is a teaser post =)

When Was The Last Time?

Here is question for all of you who reads my blog, When was your last time going out and just have fun either shopping or going for a movie with YOUR MOM? Or at least, when was the last time you REMEMBERED going out with your mom? Not your boyfriend/girlfriend/friends/best friends/flings/siblings BUT your mom...

Super tired after work face =( Clipped my hair up like an aunty wtf

For me, I can't remember.

Yes, I don't think I ever remember the last time I went out with her, just the two of us, doing chick stuffs like shopping and movies.

So, I planned to bring her to a movie of her choice(which I suggested la cause shes a noob to all this movie), treated her to it... crosses fingers that she love it. And she did! =)

I actually watched it already thanks to Nuffnang and the Boyfy who gave&had free tickets to go watch. We wanted to watch Inception but it was all full, kinda expected it actually. So we opt for Eclipse...

And the first thing my mom notice was the unbalance eye brows that Bella has! LOL!!

We end the night by laughing at my bulging tummy wtf *darks* Pobre~

And I love my Fashion Disaster slippers. Lol!

Movie: The Twilight Saga, Eclipse

Honestly, I am one of them who smirks and has no interest whatsoever when it comes to sparkly vampires and hot tanned body werewolves.

I would also NOT spend RM180++ for 3 in 1 Twilight Saga books like what other cheap skate readers would do, by waiting the MPH people to wrap the book into 3-1 and then "It's cheap! Let's get them!".

Anyways, my perception towards Twilight and it's next saga which is Eclipse totally changed when I had the chance to watch Eclipse given by Nuffnang, because Samuel won a pair =)

Like I said, I did not watch Twilight so Eclipse's storyline was a little blur for me but thanks to Samuel who updates me on why it happens, who is Victoria and why Victoria wants to kill Bella.

The movie started off with someone (who later in the movie we know) named Riley that was turned into a vampire by Victoria (who also we knew later in the movie) and it was changed to this very nice meadow where Bella was having intimate moments with Edward, the sparkly vampire.

Not wanting to be a spoilsport for those who have not watched this, I would recommend 6 out of 10 votes to go watch this movie because I really love the scene where the vampires gang-ed up together with the vampire Cullen clan, with one purpose, to protect Bella from being killed by Victoria.

For those who are on the same boat with me, who did not watch Twilight, Victoria wants to kill Bella because Edward killed her vampire-partner. And obviously Bella is Edward's partner. Yea, revenge based movie =)

In the middle of it all, the cheesie-ness (pun intended) between Bella deciding on Edward and Jacob really took away the 4 votes as I just don't like super fickle-minded bitches. Nothing bad but something personally I don't like.

I think the Volturi vampires are really cool with the black robe-above-the-head and all the gothic makeup and pale skin with red lippies! I'mma ex-emo, what do you expect!
